PRODUCTS

While some of our jobs are hand cut, others may be produced utilizing the latest technology in computerized cutting.  But, you can be sure that every letter is hand finished with sharp corners and smooth, straight edges, eliminating the radius corners seen on lesser quality router cut and even water-jet cut letters.  Even though we use computers to maintain precision, our oxidized, satin and polished finishes are more of an art, relying on fine, old-fashioned craftsmanship that is just no longer available from large letter manufacturers.  Every job that leaves our premises exemplifies our incessant attention to detail and uncompromising quest for the highest quality, coupled with a timely delivery at competitive prices.

Materials and Finishes

We offer a variety of copper alloys, i.e. brass, bronze, copper and muntz.  Additionally, we offer aluminum alloys and various acrylics/plastics.  In the near future, stainless steel will be available as well.

Most commonly used materials and finishes are:

Brass Letters and Logos

Cut Letters, Logos and Shapes

We cut our letters and logos out of flat sheet and plate stock  material in thicknesses from 1/16" up to 1" and letter heights from 1/2" on  up.

Some of our jobs are cut the "old fashioned" way, i.e. by hand, utilizing various types of saws required for the job.  We then sand and file all edges and corners to a fine smooth finish.  Other jobs are produced utilizing computer driven cutters.  Letters generated on computer driven cutters will have radius "inside" corners.  Some manufacturers will offer you these type of letters as an alternative option to their regular line of letters and logos.  We believe that offering our customers inferior quality letters, letters not true to style and design specification is NOT AN OPTION.  Our computer cut letters receive the same finish and attention to detail as our hand cut letters.  They too, will have all edges and corners sanded and filed to a fine smooth finish.  Hand cut letters and computer generated ones are offered to you at the same competitive price.

Sandblasted Edges

Unless otherwise requested, the edges of all letters receive a fine sandblasted finish to produce a matte uniform appearance.

Drilling and Tapping

Our prices include drilling and tapping, threaded studs and installation templates.  When the  style and size of a letter allow, we will drill a minimum of three holes per letter, at times, four.  Thread sizes will vary from 0-80 to 1/4-20.  Unlike other manufacturers who are unwilling or unable to drill and tap 1/8" thick material, we are quite capable of doing so, eliminating the need for cumbersome unwieldy spot welded studs.  Threaded studs and installation templates are provided with each job.

Installation Templates

This is where we really shine.  Early on, we used to install our products and have always maintained that the most beautifully produced job will look quite worthless and most unattractive if installed carelessly and sloppily.  There is nothing worse, during and after an installation, than having mismatched hole locations on letters and templates or having letters installed crooked.  Our solution to this issue is exactly what we provide you with. Upon receipt of your order, we take your computer generated art, hard copy of your art, scanned and converted to a computer file, or our computer generated art specified for your job, and enter it in our program.  Hole locations are placed on each letter.  All "like" letters have identical hole locations and are interchangeable.  There is no need to number the letters and the template.  We use the very same computer art file to cut the letters, mark and/or drill the back of the letters for tapping, and then draw the template itself.  Each job's art files are stored in our computer for future need or reference.  Later, should you need a replacement letter with the same hole locations or a copy of the original installation template, it is readily available.  Our templates will provide your installer with the utmost ease of operation, resulting in a most attractive finished product.

Packing and Shipping

Letters and logos are skin packed.  Each package includes all necessary installation hardware and templates.  Jobs are shipped to you via common carrier.  When necessary, certain jobs will be crated and, if required, trucked.
