We use alloy 6061 or 2024. Both alloys
cost us more than the widely used 5052 but allow us to offer you a superior
product, competitively priced. Both alloys, known as aircraft aluminum,
offer excellent machining qualities and resistance to corrosion. Alloy
2024 in particular, polishes extremely well with a finish that rivals polished
chrome.
